Social Media Manager

What we require from a successful candidate:
Social media marketing experience is preferred. A portfolio of recent social media marketing projects is recommended but optional. The applicant should be familiar with and hold accounts on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
Working knowledge of Facebook ads is also necessary. Basic competence in photo editing and content writing is called for, including captioning skills.
Your primary duties will include the following:
Plan, implement, and oversee the content strategy on our five main social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest. Collaborate with team members as needed for content creation.
Produce and edit both written and visual content, including photos and captions. Interact with customers, responding to client inquiries via direct messages and chat. Monitor and analyze engagement data on social platforms.

We are searching for a talented and driven science writer who will be responsible for creating a variety of content aimed at our intended audience of research peptide enthusiasts. You will plan and compose factually accurate and accessible articles on peptide-related subjects supported by credible evidence and clinical findings. Your work should be fact-driven while still palatable to our broad audience.
The selected applicant will conduct research, write drafts of articles for our online publications, and occasionally generate content posted to our social media channels. They should have a firm background in medical or biological sciences and fluency in sound scientific research methods. Since this is a remote position, the ideal applicant should also be amenable to scheduling flexibility and have the ability to communicate with coworkers online.
Our chosen candidate should have the following qualities:
- Interest, passion, and basic understanding of medical topics
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana is a plus
The requirements for this role are:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Science, Communication, English, or Journalism)
- At least four years of experience as a science writer
- A portfolio of your recent work
- The ability to interpret scientific data and communicate it to a wider audience in a way that is both clear and coherent
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in collaboration with a diverse team
- Abreast of current developments in the field
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
Duties include:
